Ecstatic Dance & Heart Songs Bridport

Start your Sunday with a morning Ecstatic Dance followed by Live Heart Songs... such a great way to start the day!
Join us for Ecstatic Dance, where you’re free to move, groove, and be you in a judgment-free space. No dance skill or experience is necessary!

The music will take us on a journey of gently warming up and arriving in the space, moving into an opportunity to really get some dance & movement happening, slowing down to a close with some inspiring and heart felt tunes.
After dancing, we gather on our cushions, blankets, sheepskins to rest in the gentle embrace of Live acoustic Heart Songs—an intimate set of soul-touching songs that are here to bring peace, inspiration, and fill up your heart as we wind down together and give thanks for this lovely opportunity to come together, simply to dance :)

All bodies, all levels of dance experience welcome.
10.30am doors open and the dance gently begins

11am doors close as the dance progress's

12pm the dance part winds down, and we sit or lay down to recieve the heart songs

12.30pm end of the session

~ A few guidelines ~

~ Drug, alcohol & substance free

~ No chatting or phones on the dance floor, give your mind a break :)

~ Recommended dancing barefoot, socks or soft indoor shoes

~ Move however you wish, walking, dancing, shaking, rolling, whatever you feel. There is no right or wrong way to move, this is an opportunity to see what feels good for your body. Just be respectful to others in the space

~ What to wear? comfortable, easy to move in clothes, can be tight, loose, flowey, whatever is your preference

~ Sorry, this is not an event for very young children unless you have someone there to mind them for you

Bring with you:

~ Water bottle

~ A cushion, blanket, sheepskin to sit or lay on & perhaps a light blanket to put over you for the heart songs short concert.
