Ecstatic Dance w/ Maria Flex & Laurent
Let's celebrate movement, music, and self-expression through ECSTATIC DANCE. We welcome you to this loving and sacred space with an opening circle. Laurent will then guide us through a full body warm-up to prepare our bodies. And we’ll continue moving right into the Ecstatic Dance by @mariaflex_ DJ set. We will finish by settling into a grounding meditation, while bringing stillness into our bodies and our breath.
Doors open at 6:30pm to check-in and then you can explore the beautiful farm. The opening circle starts promptly at 7pm.
What ecstatic dance?
DANCE IS FOR EVERYONE!!! In addition to being a form of physical and emotional expression, it offers health benefits for the body and mind. This space is created to dance with your own rhythm, without any specific dance techniques, and with the freedom to improvise and explore your body's expression. Music is the common thread of this active meditation, which raises our energy to create new, free and conscious movements through our body.
To reconnect and inhabit ourselves, we practice silence. We also invite you to practice a grounding dance without shoes.
In this loving and sacred space, we promote intuitive movements where there is no right or wrong, where there are no predetermined forms, and where your movements are a valid means of expression and can facilitate the release of emotions.

Who is Laurent? @earth_air_bodywork
Laurent is a 305 local massage therapist and Aerial Yoga instructor. He loves to move his body in various ways including calisthenics, Acro Yoga, & DANCE
Who is Maria Flex? @mariaflex_
Maria flex is a professional Colombian DJ. She has created ecstatic dance around Colombia, Mexico and EEUU over two years.

Keep right past the animals to find the class under the Tiki Hut.
