EcoTech Chastain: Explore Artificial Intelligence & The Natural World

Come join conservationists and technologists for this in-person event. We'll begin with a brief discussion about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on our lives. Then, we'll dive into an interactive walkabout workshop, using generative AI to explore Chastain Park and the wonders of the Natural world.

Participants will walk around the new trails in the Park’s North woods. We will use generative AI to learn about Chastain Park, including its features, history, animal and plant life—including the Conservancy’s mission to improve and restore the park. We will close with a brief discussion about what was learned about generative AI and the Park and any thoughts prompted by the overall experience. Throughout the event, participants can ask questions and get answers about generative AI and Chastain Park.

People with little to no experience will become more comfortable with the technology, and those familiar with AI will experience it in a whole new way.
