About this Event
The event will present the EcoPodcasts project (www.ecopodcasts.eu), which has as its main objective the creation of engaging educational resources, adapted for schools that want to integrate environmental education into their curriculum in an innovative way.
The centrepiece of the EcoPodcasts Educational Toolbox is an interactive, youth-friendly web platform that features a library of environmental podcasts, a comprehensive teaching resource centre and a diverse range of educational materials designed for educators and students. These resources aim to deepen understanding of environmental issues while guiding the use and creation of podcasts for educational and community outreach purposes.
The project has been piloted in Austria at BG/BRG Lichtenfels. The teachers involved will tell us about their experience of working with students using the platform and about the ecological awareness initiatives taking place at the school. The students, in turn, will present their experience of developing their podcasts.
Event participation is free. We kindly ask you to register as soon as possible (before 19 April 2024) due to the restriction of places.
