Piers Sangan, Director of Sangan Island Conservation, is a wildlife ecologist and conservation land manager as well as an experienced bat worker and is currently the Co-Chair of the zoology section of the Societe Jersiaise. Piers founded the Jersey Grey Long Eared Project to investigate the lifestyle and habitat of one of Jersey’s most endangered bat species.
His research and work across the Bailiwick endeavours to understand and protect this charming creature and the wider bat population.
