Learn the importance of our environmental enrichment program by interacting with our marine animals including dolphins, penguins and Australian sea lions.
Discover the cultural significance of marine life and the environment to our local first nations people.
Each afternoon comprises three components: a syllabus-based lesson on each species, a practical activity with each species and a creative activity (which changes weekly).
Eco-Groms includes:
Feeding and caring for sick sea turtles in our Turtle Triage
Getting splashed by our fish, rays and sharks
Meeting freshwater turtles up close and learning the threats they face in our water ways
Peeking behind the scenes of the Little Blue Penguins, the world's smallest penguins
Interacting with our endangered Australian sea lions and learning what we can do to help them.
Discovering the human threats facing dolphins.
Enclosed footwear is essential
Hat and sunscreen are recommended

Program runs from 4.00pm - 5.00pm for six weeks
