Come and clean western spring portion of Great North Road. Afterwards let's have a tour around Waiōrea Community Recycling Centre to learn about sustainable living style! Remember to bring a bag (or a couple) to take advantage of the famous $5 fill-a-bag!Meet at 10 am, 5 May, Sunday at Carpark at Waiōrea Community Recycling Centre, 990 Great North Road
All cleaning tools will be provided.
Western Spring TEAM UP 2 CLEAN UP is special run by Waiōrea Community Recycling Centre and Earth Action Trust, and is part of the Albert-Eden & Puketāpapa Eco Festival.
This is a fantastic way to get out of that same-old-same-old routine, meet new people, exchange ideas to spark new ones, get light exercise and most of all make a difference to our community and environment.
Coming to the event please consider to:
Check weather forecast to wear appropriate gear
Wear closed and comfy walking shoes
Children under 16 must be accompanies by an adult
Practice good hygiene, stay home if you’re sick
