Iceland abounds with natural splendor: waterfalls and glaciers, panoramic views and otherworldly landscapes. During the summer months, Iceland’s round-the-clock sunlight draws in a panoply of nesting birds: Atlantic puffins, razorbills, guillemots, phalaropes, godwits and more. Come along with wildlife photographer and Mass Audubon instructor Shawn Carey as he shares images and stories from his journey to Iceland, with a focus on two Icelandic islands that attract thousands of nesting seabirds each summer. You’ll learn some helpful wildlife photography tips along the way.
This event is co-hosted by the Essex County Ornithological Club. All are welcome to attend!
