Theme: Designing Resorts the Vernacular Way – Where Tradition Meets Sustainability
Objective: To spread awareness about the value of vernacular techniques in modern resort design highlighting how they boost sustainability community living and mental health.
Who Can Participate?
Open to all age groups (Students Professionals Enthusiasts).
Architects Interior Designers Civil Engineers Artists Craftsperson’s and Hobbyists.
Competition Rules & Guidelines:
1. Participants must carry their own raw materials (eco-friendly materials encouraged).
2. Registration Fee: ₹2500 per participant.
3. Participants must design a resort model (max 2ft x 2ft base size).
4. The model should showcase:
· Use of vernacular techniques.
· Eco-materials (mud bamboo timber stone terracotta etc.).
· Sustainable water/energy/waste solutions.
· Elements reflecting mental well-being & lifestyle benefits.
5.Models will be judged on:
· Creativity & Innovation
· Sustainability & Practicality
· Aesthetics & Cultural Inspiration
· Presentation & Concept Explanation
Prizes & Recognition:
· 1st Prize – ₹25000 + Certificate of Excellence
· 2nd Prize – ₹10000 + Certificate of Merit
· 3rd Prize – ₹5000 + Certificate of Appreciation
