ecobirmingham's Big Give Fundraiser – Brewery Bike Ride

Have fun, explore and create impact this Earth Day weekend!

ecobirmingham are hosting two led bike rides on Saturday 20th April to help raise vital funds for our Big Give - Green Match Fundrasing Campaign, enabling children across Birmingham experience the wonders of the outdoors.

Enjoy a scenic ride with a friendly group, fab vibes and post ride social.

You can also be sure your wheels are turning smoothly with a FREE bike check from the fabulous Fabio aka BiclasB12 from 9.30am

What to expect:

• A fun time discovering bike friendly routes and connecting with people outdoors
• Light refreshments will be provided

• All participants will receive a FREE post ride beer* at Attic BrewCo and a copy of our illustrated ’69wards by Bike or Foot’ map

• Rides led by qualified leaders, 2 routes to choose from - something suitable for everyone
• These are social rides, nobody gets left behind. There will pit stops, chatting and smiles.

Location: Start Point: Bournville Village Green Fininishing at Attic Brew Co

Meeting from: 10.30am - Wheels Roll 11am

Cost: Pay-as-you-Feel - suggested donation £15pp

15km / 10mile - Route - expect a lovely, bike friendly route. This will be a fun, relaxed ride exploring some of the city's greenspaces via mostly shared paths and quiet streets. Suitable for all abilities and all bikes.

35km / 21mile - Route - expect a fun ride on mixed terrain. This is a great bike friendly urban explorer route with lots of scenery to enjoy. The route uses a mixture of national cycle routes, shared paths and quiet roads to create a lovely loop. Suitable for regular riders.

Things to remember:

• You must have your own bike to take part in these led rides
• Spaces must be booked in advance
• Please bring a drink, snacks or some money/bank card to purchase extra refreshments.
• Remember to dress for the weather
• If you can, carry the following items: bike lights, a spare inner tube/tools.
• Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the ride is due to leave.
• Dr Bike — sessions are first come, first serve, no booking necessary.
• Donations must be made via our Big Give page between 18th-25th April

ecobirmingham has secured match funding through The Big Give! This means every £1 donated through our Big Give page between 18th-25th April will be matched by £1 from the Big Give until we reach our goal of £5000!

We suggest a donation of £15pp for this event. All funds raised will help enable children across Birmingham experience the wonders of the outdoors. Providing access to outdoor learning and play opportunities encouraging the next generation of children to appreciate and care for nature and our planet.

We will share a link to our Big Give donate page with those who have booked a spot once it is live. There will also be opportunity to donate by cash or QR code at the event. Your support means the world.
