Homeschool students in grades K-5 are invited to the EcoAdventures event from 9:30 -11:30 a.m. on September 24. Students will visit four activity stations featuring nature-based, interactive, science activities hosted by SFA Gardens staff and volunteers. The event will be held at the SFA Kingham Children's Garden and the Mast Arboretum in Nacogdoches.The cost is $5 per student, and there is no charge for accompanying adults. Pre-registration is required. Students in grades higher than K-5 may attend and participate if they are registered. Register online at sfasu.edu/gardens/store.
Parking is available in the SFA Commuter Parking Lot, and participants should allow enough time for a 5-minute walk to the check in location at the pavilion at the Kingham Children's Garden on East College Street. Parking permits are required and information for obtaining a permit can be found on the SFA Parking Services webpage. Purchasing a parking permit in advance is recommended.
