Aspire to be an urban farmer? Chickens, bees, and worms are three small but mighty helpers that can completely transform your backyard. Chickens don’t just provide fresh eggs – they also gobble up food scraps and help keep pests down. There will be a cover charge of $5 for this event to go towards supper.

This event is part of the South Canterbury Eco Centre’s monthly “Eco Talks”. During the first week of most months we aim to have a presenter, followed by supper. These sessions will be a minimum of $5 per person and can be booked via our website.
