Eco printing, also called bundle dyeing, is a unique way of applying colour to fabric that can maintain the imprint of the plant material. The Workshop will be taught by Sharilyn owner of Heirloom Bohemia, a fabric and textile studio located at 1195 Richter. Sharilyn will go over everything you need to know to get started playing with natural dyes.
Participants will receive one silk scarf as part of the workshop fee. Please let us know if you would like to purchase an additional scarf. All Materials are pre scoured and mordanted. The instructor will go over these more time consuming processes so you can repeat the process at home.
