About this Event
Sonoma Marin Saving Water Partnership's Eco-Friendly Garden Tour is a public outreach and education program that promotes sustainable landscaping practices by showcasing inspiring gardens throughout Sonoma and Marin counties. The Tour highlights Russina River-Friendly and Bay-Friendly landscaping best practices. To find out about all of the gardens that will be a part of the May 10, 2025 tour click here.
Home Ground Habitats is a proud sponsor and participant in the annual tour. Our nearly one-acre property teems with vibrant gardens, serving as a haven for butterflies, bees, birds, and humans alike. Here, the demonstration gardens epitomize a sustainable, organic ethos, showcasing a California-friendly landscape adorned with native and drought-tolerant Mediterranean flora. Meandering gravel pathways lead visitors through hedgerows, wildflower meadows, and a verdant fruit orchard, while a vegetable garden and edible medicinal plants underscore our commitment to holistic living.
Home Ground Habitats will be having a habitat plant and seed sale for garden tour guests as well as live demos, presentations on butterflies, and more!
Please reserve your spot and we will keep you updated on of our special events!
