Join textiles artist Sue Green on this day workshop to learn how embroider a fabric collage.In this workshop Sue will show you how to put eco, rust and indigo dyed fabrics together to produce a fabric back round. You will then draw and transfer images, using tea bag paper, for embroidery all based on a nature theme. Sue will have images to trace. You will be using a mixture of paint and hand embroidery to finish the designs.
You will leave this workshop with skills in embroidery, how to construct a fabric collage and a textile piece hung from an old wooden spool.
