Want to try mountain biking but don't know how to get started?Sign up for an eco-cycle workshop with Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina at Oak Hill Community Park & Forest, in Morganton, NC. We provide the bikes and riding gear so you can safely try out mountain biking, while learning about the environment around you.
Events are free, but gear is limited so signups are required.

Expert-Led Ride: Workshops are led by expert Nikki Malatin, of Best Day Bikes, who is certified through the Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association (PMBIA) & the Bike Instructor Certificate Program (BICP).
Conservation Insights: Staff from Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina will accompany the ride, sharing their extensive knowledge of the local ecosystem. Learn about interesting plants, diverse forest types, and sustainable land management practices along the way.
