The Volusia County Explore Volusia program invites you to climb aboard the eco-buggy with Education Specialist Tommy Nordmann and Environmental Specialist Holly Giles to discuss the myths and facts of some of the nocturnal animals, including owls and bats, found in Volusia County. Join us afterwards for s'mores by the fire at the newst county conservation land campsite.
** Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program.
ACTIVITY: The tour will take place on a hay-ride style, covered trailer with benches. There will be some easy, short walks as well.
RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation email, you are not registered.
TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary.
AGES: All ages are welcome.
ATTIRE: closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing for the outdoors
WHAT TO BRING: water, sunscreen, bug spray, s'mores ingredients, snacks and/or dinner
FACILITIES: There is a port-a-potty but no running water.
