Join ECMAA for a day of adventure and exploration along the beautiful trails in Cold Spring, NY. Get ready to immerse yourself in nature, hike scenic trails, and discover hidden gems. Our hike starts on Sat Nov 09 2024 at 9:15 AM at Grand Central Terminal.
Schedule:
- 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM: Meet at Grand Central Station to catch the Metro-North.
- 9:31 AM: Metro North Train Departure to Cold Spring Station
- 10:56 AM: Metro North Train Arrival at Cold Spring Station
- 11:30AM - 4PM: Hiking Adventure
- 4:20PM or 5:07PM: Depart Cold Spring Station via Metro North
If you prefer to drive, please meet us at the Bull Parking Lot at 3011 NY-9D, Cold Spring, NY 10516, by 11:30 AM. Parking fills up quickly, so plan accordingly!
Bathrooms are available on the Metro-North train, and portable restrooms will be at the trailhead. We will hike the Bull Hill Full Loop, a 6.5-mile trail that takes about 3 to 4 hours, featuring a mix of uphill terrain and stunning views of the Hudson River and surrounding mountains. Hiking paths may be adjusted based on the group's needs. Get ready for an amazing day in nature!

- Sturdy hiking boots or shoes
- Water (at least 2 liters)
- Snacks or a packed lunch
- Weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)
- Sunscreen and a hat
