eckhART Detectives: Discovering the Hidden Treasures of Eckhart Public LibraryDid you know the library has a collection of treasures hidden in plain sight? Thanks to the Eckhart Library Foundation, you are invited to be a detective and discover these beautiful works of art through the expertise of fine art appraiser Sharon Theobald and Associate and Advisor of Art Appraisal Research Stacey Alleyn Smythe. Guests will tour the library campus to view five works of art learning about the artists, their stories and their significance to Indiana history. Following the tour we will gather for a virtual Q&A with Sharon where you can learn even more fun facts about this unique collection.
Guests can also learn more about Eckhart Library Foundation, The Friends of Eckhart Public Library, and Garrett Museum of Art who will be present during the event.

3:00 pm - Doors open
3:30 pm - Tours begin
5:00 - 6:00 pm - Virtual Q&A
For those unable to move around campus, a stationary tour will be offered at the Main Library.
Virtual attendance is also available for those unable to join us in person which includes both a virtual tour and the Q&A session.
