Step off the beaten path and into the heart of the forest for a unique experience that blends ecological awareness, spiritual connection, and collective action. Join certified nature-based therapist, wilderness guide, and environmental educator Andrea Fox for a full day exploration into the ancient world of old growth forests.Together, we’ll wander off-trail into lesser-traveled woodland groves, guided by principles of nature therapy and forest bathing—a sensory-based practice rooted in slowing down, reconnecting, and listening deeply to the land. Along the way, you’ll learn how to identify old growth indicators and contribute to citizen science efforts by recording key data with photos and measurements on mobile apps to help track and protect these rare ecosystems.
This is more than a walk—it’s a call to stewardship. Through storytelling, grounding exercises, and eco-activism, we'll explore the interdependence of science and spirit, and how each of us can advocate for ancient trees and the biodiversity they shelter. Expect a mix of gentle movement, mindfulness, and purpose-driven action in a safe, inclusive space.
