Join us at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church for a special three-night lecture series with Rev. Fr. Cosmas Kenneth OkeChukwu Nwosuh, MSP, an internationally respected priest and Church historian.Fr. Nwosuh was ordained in 1989 as a priest of the Missionary Society of St. Paul of Nigeria. He studied at the National Missionary Seminary of St. Paul (NAMISEM) in Abuja before earning both his Master of Arts and Ph.D. in Church History from The Catholic University of America (Washington, D.C.). He later served on the faculty there as a formator and lecturer in Church History, and has also ministered in pastoral assignments in Kansas while completing an additional Master of Science in Education from Newman University.
In 2013, Fr. Nwosuh published his landmark work, Cardinal Dominic Ekandem and the Growth of the Catholic Church in Nigeria, recognized as a seminal contribution to African Catholic scholarship. He currently serves on mission at NAMISEM, and is spending part of his summer with us here at St. Anthony’s.
Across three evenings, Fr. Nwosuh will explore the Church’s journey through history — its struggles, triumphs, and enduring mission — with insights that connect the past to the present.
This is a unique opportunity to hear from a priest and scholar whose life bridges continents, classrooms, and parishes. All are welcome — bring a friend!
