Hailing from Austin, Texas, Echo Lake is an improv comedy troupe that blends the best of theater, storytelling, and absolute ridiculousness. For over a decade, Valerie Ward, Courtney Hopkins, Cortnie Jones, and Lisa Jackson have been bringing their signature mix of high-energy absurdity and razor-sharp wit to the stage.
Their style? Pure, unfiltered fun. They don’t just agree in scenes—they hyper-agree, often becoming the same character, escalating situations to wild, towering heights. Echo Lake flows seamlessly from one moment to the next, using movement, sound, and sheer comedic instinct to create fast-paced, freewheeling performances.
