Yayita Finin, Houston-born and raised in the Texas Salsa scene, is the founder of Eleda Dance Company, an Afrocentric project dedicated to cultural preservation and elevating the visibility of Black women in dance. Trained for over a decade under Salomon Amaya and rooted in her Puerto Rican and Afro-Folkloric heritage, Yayita is celebrated for her exceptional body movement and powerful performances.
