Join us for a vibrant celebration of spring in the heart of Eccleshall! The Eccleshall Spring Festival promises a day packed with activities for all ages, including performances, live music, and a variety of stalls.
Vibe 1 broadcasting: Enjoy live coverage and interviews throughout the event.
🦌 The Horn Dance of Abbots Bromley: Witness one of Britain’s oldest folk traditions, as this ancient custom mesmerises audiences with its rich history.
💃 Stafford Morris: A lively performance by a mixed Morris dancing team, bringing traditional Cotswold-style dances to life.
🎶 Strolling Buskers & Live Music: Music lovers can enjoy live performances throughout the day, keeping the festive spirit high.
🎤 Ashley & Loggerheads Community Choir: Founded in 2024, this beautiful choir will add a touch of harmony to the day.
🌸 Aria Art and Movement CIC: Enjoy the stunning aerial flower display and creative craft tasters, where visitors can make their very own flower to take home.
Other family-friendly activities include free face painting, a bouncy castle, and a Spring Scavenger Hunt.
Holy Trinity Church will host a special performance of ‘The Vicar of Dibley meets Father Ted’ at 3 PM, alongside arts and crafts activities inside the church.
Dance Nuvo will entertain with their 10-minute performance of Alice’s Tea Party.
A wide variety of market stalls will feature local traders, artisans, and food vendors, offering handmade crafts, fresh produce, and delicious homemade treats. Whether you’re after seasonal delights or unique gifts, there’s something for everyone.
At the heart of the event, the Worshipful Mayor, Councillor Frank James, and Mayoress Mrs. Sara Peters will officially open the festival, kicking off a day full of community spirit and celebration.
Eccleshall Community First Responders will be raising funds for their essential services, which provide vital emergency medical aid before professional help arrives.
Organised by LR Partnership Events and Staffordshire Cultural Events CIC, and supported by Eccleshall Parish Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
