In this book reading you will hear about the journey of two unlikely friends who despite their differences learn to support each other as they face the challenges of "The Path to the Mountain". This is the second book of a three-part series that is full of adventure, culture, and history. Find out how an encounter with Sojourner Truth help the girls learn from the past to empower them to face present day difficulties.

The authors are seeking ten girls (5 Black girls & 5 white girls) who love to read books and are creative thinkers to act as consultants to the next book in the series by participating in the Ebony & Ivory Teen Focus Group. Come to this exciting event to find out more about this opportunity.
