Taylor brought together traditional Ghanaian music with American jazz and funk, as well as the unstoppable groove of Afrobeat, on albums like Ebo Taylor & The Pelikans and Tower Nyame. With longtime collaborator Pat Thomas—himself one of Ghana’s most beloved singers—he presents a soul-stirring exploration of rhythms and melodies from throughout his storied career.
