? WHAT? At EBBC (Entrepreneurial Business Book Club) we bring together a curious, ambitious and growth-minded crowd to actively engage around a selected (business-related) book or an interesting topic. We strive to improve in life and career through books, self-development and peer-to-peer learning.
⚡ HOW? After a short EBBC introduction and a book pitch, there's an interactive, introspective and practical session centered around the principles of the book.
? BOOK? ➡ "Why We Sleep: Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams" by Matthew Walker ⬅ The author answers important questions about sleep: how do caffeine and alcohol affect sleep? Why do our sleep patterns change across a lifetime? Synthesizing decades of research and clinical practice, he explains how we can harness sleep to improve learning, mood, and energy levels; regulate hormones; prevent cancer, Alzheimer’s, and diabetes; slow the effects of aging etc.
? PRACTICALS? Saturday 18 December – 6pm-8pm – Downtown (exact location will be send to you by email few days in advance)
? TO-DO? We understand life can get a bit hectic. That's why we design our session in such a way you can still join the session without reading the (full) book. We also provide you with preparation materials below. Come prepared to get the most out of the session for yourself as well as others!
