This peer support group brings Eaton Canyon Fire survivors together to share experiences, challenges, and victories with people who get it.
Whether you need advice, a listening ear, or want to explore gentle body-based healing practices, this group is for you.
The Eaton Fire changed our lives in ways words can't always capture. This group recognizes that trauma affects both mind and body. We combine peer support with gentle somatic practices to help process experiences and build resilience for the path forward.
What You'll Experience
🤝 Peer-Led Community Support
- Connect with Eaton Fire survivors who understand your challenges firsthand
- Get support from dedicated community members committed to fire victim recovery
- Share resources specific to Eaton Fire recovery (insurance, FEMA, rebuilding contractors)
🌱 Mind-Body Healing
- Learn gentle somatic practices to help regulate your nervous system
- Release stored trauma and reconnect with your body's natural healing wisdom
- All practices are optional and trauma-informed
💬 Safe Sharing Space
- Share as much or little as feels comfortable
- No pressure to participate in any activity
- Your healing journey is uniquely yours
Event Details
Date: Every 3rd Sunday of each month from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
What to Expect: 90-minute sessions combining peer sharing and optional movement/breathing practices such as yoga, sound bath, and meditiation
What to Bring: Just yourself, comfortable clothes, water bottle (optional)
Cost: Free
Group Size: Limited to ensure intimate, safe connection
