Presenter: Shannon O’Meara- Registered Dietitian

Shannon O'Meara is a registered dietitian from Orlando, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a specialty in nutritional science. She went on to obtain a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Florida where she also completed her dietetic internship. Shannon has previously worked at Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and with various sports teams like the Florida Gators and Orlando City Soccer Club. Shannon currently works as an outpatient dietitian at the Orlando Health Center for Health Improvement working with individual clients and helping them meet their health goals, preventing chronic diseases, and improving overall wellness.
