Jason McBride joins us live and in-person on stage in the Appel Salon to discuss his new biography of the pioneering writer Kathy Acker.
About this Event

Jason McBride joins us to discuss his full-scale authorized biography of the pioneering experimental novelist Kathy Acker, one of the most original and controversial figures in 20th-century American literature. Twenty-five years after her death, this long overdue biography shows that she was a titanic cultural force who tied together disparate movements in literature, art, music, theatre, and film. In conversation with writer Sheila Heti.

"Smart and sympathetic" —
