Eat the Screen: Do the Right ThingThursday, November 20 | 6–9 PM
The Urban Food Brood | Springfield, MA
The world feels tense right now — maybe more than ever. We believe food and film can bring people back to the table, where real change starts.
Join us for the launch of Eat the Screen, a new series where we pair powerful films with the food featured in them. We believe storytelling should feed both the heart and the stomach.
We’re starting with Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing, set in 1989 Brooklyn on one block in Bedford–Stuyvesant. The story unfolds around Sal’s Famous Pizzeria, a neighborhood pizza shop that becomes a symbol of heat, history, and humanity. So of course... we’re serving pizza.
The Menu
Our pies are made by hand, with real ingredients and local flavor. Choose from:
🍕 Plain – classic cheese
🌿 Vegan – vegan cheese, olive oil, garlic, tomato
🧀 Smoke Me Some Gouda – spinach, tomato, onion, boursin, provolone, gouda
🌭 Corsello Sausage – made with Corsello’s signature sausage
🥬 Feta Me This – feta-parmesan sauce, sesame seeds, spinach, roasted red peppers (with or without chicken)
🍔 Cheeseburger Pizza – beef, pickles, onions, tomato, ketchup, mustard
🥓 Corsello Meatball Bacon – hearty, smoky, unapologetic
Each meal comes with a Happy Man Bag of Fun and a drink.
Come hungry. Come ready. Come together.
