About this Event
Do you ever find yourself wondering what on Earth you do with your time? Feeling pulled in a million different directions between family life and showing up on the daily as a great colleague? Perhaps like lots of brilliant parents in the workplace, you see going to work as the break.
But here’s the thing: it’s not the break you’re looking for.
Sure, it’s a different pace, you’re unlikely to be asked for a snack every hour and (hopefully) you don’t need to change a nappy / remind someone to go for a wee. But where is your opportunity for rest or those hobbies you’ve been putting on the back burner since becoming a parent?
In this session, we’ll look at the myths and expectations you need to bust for yourself, address the boundaries you want to uphold and get practical when it comes to managing the conflicting priorities that lead to your wellbeing getting slung on a back burner. It can feel immensely difficult as a parent to manage the infamous juggle and we can often find ourselves seeking permission for time out. Well, this is it. The stuff you want to say but aren’t quite sure how to articulate. Putting you and your needs front and centre.
There will be zero preaching about time management and productivity, but lots of practical ideas and insights about reclaiming your focus and attention, all while falling back in love with how you spend your time.
It’s a totally free session, no recording though - you have to be in the (virtual) room to get the full impact. There are other online resources available from Power of the Parent® if you can’t make it but still need the support, either on the Support Hub or Insta feed.
