A pub crawl and guided architecture tour of the Drake Neighborhood.
Join us for the third annual Eat|Drink|Architecture: Drake Edition! New this year, the event will begin with a “shotgun start." Participants can choose from three starting locations – Tour groups will depart from University Library Cafe, Lucky Horse Beer & Burgers, or xBk. All tour groups will depart from their first location at 1:00 PM and visit all of the other venues throughout the tour. At each venue, participants will enjoy featured food and adult beverage selections to refuel. Walking between each stop, participants will be treated to a docent-led architectural tour of the eclectic Drake neighborhood and campus with its architectural mix of new developments, modernist landmarks and distinctive religious styles.
Please select your preferred tour departure location when you register. Tickets are $50 and must be purchased in advance. **Online ticket sales end at midnight before the event. Walk-up tickets are available only as space allows and are not guaranteed.**
Eat.Drink.Architecture. is sponsored by the Iowa Architectural Foundation (IAF) and Full Court Press restaurants. Thanks to Jeff Bruning and FCP, 100% of the proceeds will help fund Iowa Architectural Foundation programming around the state, increasing the public's awareness of the value of architecture in building a better world.
