Eat, Drink & Paint is back at it again at the Tunkhannock Intermediate Center for another family-friendly painting event for the benefit of the PTO. On Friday, November 22th, at 6:00 PM, we will be painting "Hello Out There," pictured above, in the IC cafeteria. Don't be intimidated by this painting. I have some tricks to make it easier than it looks.This event is open to the public and is family-friendly, so no adult beverages, please. This is a fun and easy painting suitable for all ages. The cost is $30 per canvas. Yes, you may share canvases, so bring the kiddos and paint together if you'd like. All painting supplies will be provided.
The TAIC Title I Dept. will be joining us to give away the Hello Lighthouse books that inspired our painting session. This book is a Caldecott Award winning book and is great for the whole family. Our Title I dept. will provide a brief overview of the programs at the Intermediate Center before we begin painting.
We will have some munchies on the tables (chips and such), but you are welcome to bring snacks and drinks. To register for this event, please click on "Going" above. If you are bringing someone who is not on Facebook, please let me know in the comments. If at any time you need to cancel, please click "Going" again, and it will remove you from the reservation list. Please also let me know that you have canceled in the comments, too. Thanks! That really helps with the organization of it all, and those who know me know I need a lot. I now have many ways to pay, including Google Pay, Cash App, PayPal, and Venmo. Of course, cash and checks at the door are always accepted. If you pay in advance, you will get an additional door prize ticket. The door prize will be a gift certificate for a future Eat, Drink & Paint event. The PTO will also have a basket raffle at the event.
