**THIS CLASS IS NOW FULL**Our upcoming class on Tuesday May 21st at 6 pm, led by a local flower farmer, is all about Growing Perennial Flowers in Alaska. Amber will be sharing some easy-to-start perennials from seed, helpful tips for cold flower farming, and some hard-won secrets to gardening in Alaska! She'll cover various varieties and provide a framework for selecting, planting, and caring for your flowers. You will even start a few varieties to take home and plant this year. After the instructional time, there'll be mingling time and an opportunity to purchase additional flower starts and seeds.
While the class is free, we kindly request a minimum $5 donation at the door to help cover the cost of supplies. This will be collected at the beginning of the session.
Let's introduce Amber, the creative force and green thumb behind Wildwood Flower Co. With a background in fine arts and photography, Amber's journey led her to flower farming, where she grows, photographs, and paints flowers. She's thrilled to share her expertise and passion for flower farming, making it approachable for anyone interested in adding cut flowers to their life.
