Meet your outdoors-loving neighbors! Brought to you by the EP Recycling and Sustainability Club and Keep Austin Beautiful, Easton Park's first litter cleanup along our trails will kick off on Saturday, 9/14, at 8 a.m. Come at 7:45 or earlier to enjoy free drip or cold brew coffee generously offered by Cenizo. Bags, pickers, and other supplies will be provided by Keep Austin Beautiful's site leader, Simi Vadgama.The details:
• All volunteers will need to dowload the free Give Pulse app to help Keep Austin Beautiful track their impact, collect liability waivers, and get a headcount so we know how many bags and pickers to bring.
• Feel free to post here about trail sections that need cleanup.
• Work within your comfort level, but if you plan to step off the pavement, safe attire includes boots above the ankles, long pants, and gloves.
• Also bring a hat, your sunscreen, and bug spray
• The pickup will likely take 1–2 hours, and some groups might want to carpool to the trailhead closest to their chosen area.
• Rain or shine!
