✨ ASJ
The core of Hong Kong based producer and DJ, ASJ’s, work is a concept of the mind, a depiction of the higher force beyond the physical which constantly changes one’s thought, emotions and perceptions.
ASJ has performed for some of Europe's best loved venues and events including Berghain, Razzmatazz, and QuaI De Bourbon. She has also performed for major Hong Kong festivals such as Sonar and Clockenflap.
Her debut album and third major work “集體模像 DUPLICATE COGNIZANCE” is out now on Absurd Trax.
✨ LVRA
Singer and producer LVRA (pronounced loo-rah), channels her love of R&B and experimental electronics, by seamlessly blending samples of traditional Chinese instruments with honeyed vocals.
Aside from earning plaudits from from the likes of Radio 1, DJ Mag, and DIY, LVRA also won The Sound of Young Scotland Award at the Scottish Album of the Year ceremony, and recently starred in a short BBC Scotland documentary entitled LVRA: using music to navigate my identity.
✨ EGG ON TOAST
Steam Radio and Not Bad For A Girl resident Egg On Toast started their DJ journey in Tokyo’s underground clubs. Since returning to Manchester, they have played at major local venues including Hidden, YES and Soup as well as festival line ups such as Homobloc, No Bounds, and El Dorado.
Expect an eclectic mix of moods from this Egg. Groovy electro, euphoric trance and breaks, to mind scrambling bass, techno, footwork, and jungle.
✨ CHERI
Prepare to double up on your caffeine intake - Eastern Margins resident CHERI will have you moving all night and cancelling your gym membership.
Cheri's sets range from the party spirit of Notting Hill carnival to turbo-speeding through the dancefloor to 160 Eurobeat and everything else in between. Based between London and Manchester, CHERI has been showcased on a variety of platforms such as NTS, STEAM radio, Keep Hush and SWU.FM, with her own monthly residency on AAJA music dedicated to pushing the extremes of musical boundaries.
✨ STNLY
STNLY is a queer Malaysian DJ based in Manchester. They like to think of DJing as a ritual of casting spells that helps loosen the grips of our past and future, and nothing brings him more joy than watching his fellow queers loose themselves on the dancefloor.
He is drawn to colourful sound palettes and bass heavy hypnotic grooves with percussive and trippy textures across genres.
✨ JDX
Born and raised in Shenzhen, China, Eastern Margins resident, JDX, cut his teeth at Shenzhen's most infamous venue, OIL, where he still plays support for international and domestic acts when he is back home.
On the airwaves, he curated a monthly show that ran for one year on Internet Public Radio, billed as "Unknown Dielectric" and has appeared on the likes of NTS, SHCR (Shanghai Community Radio), Eaton Radio (HK), Hotel Radio Paris and more. In the club, he tends to play a wide range of genres, which can be showcased by his broadcast with Keep Hush.
