Join us early on Easter Sunday worship! ✝️We will gather at Kingwood Memorial Park (yes, at a cemetery) for a short worship service, with Holy Communion.
Why at a cemetery?
Easter Sunday is the day we celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead and we look ahead with hope until the day when all who have died in faith will join in this resurrection. As we will hear in the Gospel reading, we will gather in the early morning hours to remember this hope that is central to our Christian faith.
What will we be doing?
Pastor Rebecca will lead us through a short worship service. If you’d like to help with reading portions of the service, great. If you want to simply attend and follow along, great. About 2/3 of the way through the service, we will be sharing Holy Communion, one of the sacraments of the church. Everyone is welcome at Communion, where we will receive bread and wine. If you aren’t comfortable receiving Communion, that’s okay. You can still fully participate in the rest of the service. We’d love for you to join us.
