Step back into wartime Britain this Easter at Eden Camp’s Living History Weekend. Set within an original Second World War prisoner-of-war camp, the museum comes alive with living history taking place across the site throughout the weekend. As you explore the camp, you’ll encounter authentic WWII reenactors, live demonstrations, and stories from both the Home Front and the Front Line. From military personnel to civilian roles, the event offers a glimpse into everyday life during the 1940s, with plenty happening at intervals throughout the day.
The Living History Weekend is well suited to families visiting during the Easter holidays, as well as those with a strong interest in WWII history. There’s no fixed route or timetable to follow, allowing you to explore at your own pace and take in the demonstrations as you go.
All Living History activities are included with standard museum admission. Tickets are cheaper when booked online in advance, and we recommend allowing at least three to four hours to make the most of your visit.
