It is a time of color and life, celebration and joy, Easter egg hunts and family gatherings. But we need to remember, it begins in a graveyard. This Easter, we will gather to face the thing that has a claim on us all: death. We will gather to consider all that death has taken from us - family and friends, potential and accomplishment, even time itself. We will gather to stare into the grave and joyfully cry out with Job, “My Redeemer Lives.” Jesus rose with a guarantee that death has lost its claim on you. Our eternity goes from a graveyard to a celebration of color and life.
