Please arrive10-15 minutes prior to the session.
Instructors will start no later than 5 minutes after the posted start time.
GAI staff will determine if you may join the session or if you forfeit your ticket/place in the class. If it is determined that you are too late, and you have missed the introductory safety and process demonstration, this will hinder your ability to function in the session and to keep our staff, our studio and equipment , and then you safe, GAI will not allow you to be part of the session. NO refund or carrying of your ticket value will be honored.
Check your GPS, prior to your event date. Entry is at Indy Fused Glass or at the main entry. A single man entry door to the left of Indy Fused Glass. Follow the interior signs to the GAI Studio. Factory Arts District is an old factory...the one way street is Brookside Ave. On the left is Indy Fused Glass. Free ground level parking is on the right - 1/2 way between Centerpointe Brewery and 8th Day Distillery.
If GAI decides to hold your ticket value due illness or a family emergency THIS VALUE will ONLY BE HELD FOR 4 months from EVENT DATE.
No dollar value will be carried beyond this time frame.In this workshop our instructor/s will guide you through studio basics in safety and process and then give a demonstration on the hot glass furnace-worked piece you will be making. You will then have the opportunity to gather molten glass from a 2100-degree furnace. You will get to choose your colors and sculpt molten glass into a beautiful and unique creation of your own. Your creation will have to cool down slowly overnight and will be available to pick up a couple of days later. The studio can get hot, so please dress accordingly. T-shirts and blue jeans work well, along with closed toed shoes. No synthetic clothing!! If you have a personal pair of safety glasses or prescription glasses, please bring them. Otherwise, we have some to lend out in the studio. You must be 10 years of age or older to participate.

-100% Refund with 7 or more days’ notice .(no EventBrite processing fee will be refunded)
- 0% refunded with 6 or fewer days’ notice.
