Easter Egg Hunt & Spring Arts Program 2025

Celebrate spring at Ten Broeck! Free spring/Easter Egg Hunt in the Ten Broeck Gardens, and special pisanki (psyanky) egg art project and demonstration of traditional Eastern/Central European Easter Basket foods and decorations.

In case of rain, program will be held in light drizzle (please bring umbrellas and rain boots), but will be cancelled if there is heavy rain.

Recommended ages: ages 3-12 (Children 3 - 6 will have a separate area for collecting eggs).

• Prizes are free art and school supplies, Easter treats, snacks, and free take-home art discovery kits.
• Children are welcome to bring their own Easter Baskets to use during the hunt.
• Free decorated bags will be provided.
• Free pisanki (pysanky) egg themed art project for kids (weather permitting).
• Traditional pisanki (pysanky) egg & traditional Central/Eastern European Easter basket foods and decorating demonstration.
• Children only. While adults may accompany their children, we ask that they do not collect eggs so everyone has a chance to collect eggs.

• Children 3 to 6 will have their own area for collecting eggs, separate from children 7 and over. We ask that participants stay in their designated collecting areas so everyone can have a chance to collect eggs.
• Please wear shoes/sneakers and clothes for being outside and walking on uneven surfaces.
• Please no running and stay within boundary lines of hunt.
• Older children are welcome, but are asked to let younger children discover eggs at their own pace.
• Participants who run, push, or cut off other children will be asked to leave.
• Prizes: school supplies, Easter treats, snacks, and more!
• Please park in our parking lot (off Livingston Avenue). Use GPS address 136 Livingston Avenue.
• In case of heavy rain, event will be cancelled. Pre-registered participants will be notified via email.
• The ACHA reserves the right to limit registrations. Large group registrations will be returned.
