Join us at the Stewart Park Softball Field, located between the YMCA and Bill Gray Stadium (currently know as One Champion Car Wash Field, formerly Legion Field), on Saturday, April19th at 9:00am for a fun twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt. This 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 Easter event is open to 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝟏𝟐 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 only.
Roseburg Parks & Recreation and the Roseburg Fire Department will drop thousands of empty colored eggs from the ladder truck, courtesy of the Roseburg Fire Department onto the field below. Kids can then collect 1 of each color and turn them in for candy and prizes, curtesy of the Boys & Girls Club of Umpqua Valley, Cascade Community Credit Union, CHI Mercy Health, Roseburg Fire Department, Roseburg Parks & Recreation, Roseburg Public Library, Umpqua Health Alliance and the YMCA of Douglas County.
Special appearance by 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐲 for photos with kids in the 1934 antique fire engine! Kids are also welcome to explore the ladder truck with the Roseburg Fire Department.
