This Easter, local artists have brought the Easter Story to life through the visual arts. This walk-through display is inspiring, reflective, and in both English and Maaori throughout. Journey at your own pace as you take in all that is on offer. It is being held at Good News Community Centre, 78 Breckons Ave in Nawton.On Good Friday, 18th April, the event will be open from 11am to 5:30pm. If wet it will still happen but inside the Centre.
Children will enjoy the Seek and Find competition. Every entrant receives chocolate, and will enter the draw for an Easter Pack. There is also an opportunity to add your own artwork to a large interactive mural. When you have seen everything, enjoy hot cross buns.
This event is provided free for the community so don’t forget to stop in by and check what is on offer. There is something for all ages. If travelling by car, parking is roadside.
