Grab your family and friends and join the East Village Association for this year’s 12th Annual Opening Weekend Block Party in East VillageThe East Village San Diego Padres Block Party, orginally set for Opening Weekend, has been rescheduled for July 13. It will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m, on J Street between Bub’s at the Beach and Basic Pizza (that’s 7th & 10th Aveneues) in front of Petco Park.
The game opponent that day is the Atlanta Braves with first pich at 4:15 p.m.
The free-open-to-the-public event is an all-out Padres celebration. It has beer and spirits booths (pro’s tip: pick one away from one of the entrance gates because they often have a minimal line, if one at all), food vendors, games and live music from both DJs and bands.
