You are welcome to attend this event to acknowledge all East Timor veterans and their families/whanau and to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the deployment to East Timor.East Timor was the largest deployment since Korea. Between September 1999 and 2014, more than 5000 NZDF personnel served.
The FMRSA will be opening from 10:30, with a wreath laying at the FMRSA commencing at 10:45 and then between 11-12 we will be live-streaming the national commemoration.
Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided. Waimarie will not be open until 3pm
