About this Event
A Magnificat Breakfast of fellowship offers women a chance to share and enjoy one another in an atmosphere of God's presence and love. This meal will provide a buffet breakfast served by Pinewood Country Club, communal praise and worship open to the Charismatic gifts, and a personal testimony of guest speaker, Amanda Schneidau.
Amanda has been married to her husband Thomas for almost 20 years, and they have been blessed with six children, ages 4-16. She is the Coordinator of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at St. Margaret Mary School and was recently recognized as a formation leader by the U.S. Association of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. She is looking forward to passing on this beautiful work to more catechists.
Amanda attributes the gift of her own faith to her Mom, who she now has the privilege to care for alongside her 7 wonderful siblings, as she has battled Alzheimer’s for the past 10 years. Amanda’s life is a story of Christ calling her more deeply into His Sacred Heart and her struggle to trust Him with every facet of her own heart.
“And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart.” -Luke 2:19
Bring a friend and join us to hear Amanda's inspiring story of how the Lord is working in her life! The breakfast will be held at Pinewood Country Club, 405 Country Club Blvd., Slidell.
