DATES: The Annual East Row Victorian Christmas Tour is held the first weekend in December in the East Row Historic District in Newport, Kentucky.TICKET INFORMATION: Ticket prices $22.00 in advance and $25.00 day of the event. Tickets are available now via website. Pick up or purchase day of the tour at Trinity Lodge, 423 Park Ave, Newport, KY 41071.
HOURS: Tour hours each day will be 12:00PM – 6:00PM.
ABOUT THE TOUR: The East Row Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is the second largest historic district in Kentucky.
Visitors can look forward to breathtaking, whimsical and highly creative decorations, in beautifully appointed Queen Anne and Italianate architectural styles. Interior features include original staircases, fireplace mantles and woodwork. While garlands and greenery are hardly needed for the homes, which are selected for their distinctive interiors and exteriors and historic design, the residences will be decorated in their best holiday finery. Besides holiday decor, visitors will see newly renovated kitchens, master suites, bathrooms and other areas.
TRANSPORTATION: Most people choose to walk the Tour, but for the convenience of visitors, a shuttle will make periodic stops along the route during Tour hours. Restrooms will also be available at designated areas. While the East Row Historic District may be easily maneuvered by wheelchairs, the homes on the tour are not handicapped accessible.
