About this Event
Welcome to the East Midland Cycle Forum! Join us at the St Thomas Centre & Coffee Bar in Brampton, Chesterfield organised by Cycle Chesterfield (formally Chesterfield Cycle Campaign). If arriving by train & bike there will be a led ride to the event from Chesterfield station leaving just after 10.00am (Nottingham train arrives at 9.55, Derby train arrives 9.45 EMR or 10.02 XC).
The event will start at 10.30am with speakers from Cycling UK, Sustrans & Active Travel England followed by campaign groups. Then lunch followed by an update about the East Midland Combined Authority and afterwards an optional ride along a new segregated cycle route before returning to the railway station.
Tea and coffee will be provided and a basic lunch but we would appreciate a donation towards catering on the day (suggested £5).
