Looking to give something back in the new year? Wanting to get the family involved in a community event? Looking for volunteer opportunities?We need you!
The East Kent Railway is a charitable trust run completely by volunteers.
4 times a year we hold community volunteer events for our local community to come along and help us at the site.
This winter has not been kind to our lovely heritage site and there is lots to do, from clearing rubbish, getting rid of weeds, clearing our woodland, painting, maintenance, cleaning and much more....
Saturday 31st January 10-4pm
Sunday 1st February 10-4pm
People of all ages welcome. The whole family can get involved in this wonderful community event. (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)
Wrap up very warm, wear wellies/suitable footwear.
To register please message us with names of those attending plus ages of any under 18s helping if applicable. Also, if you have any areas of expertise, so that we can allocate you to a department for the event.
Please share and invite as many people to help as possible.
